Hit Little Pond for our last afternoon trip of the season in hopes of a couple of spotted toothy fish. Started the day with a 19" pickerel on the second cast. All the pickerel today were in that size range, and fat healthy fish for sure. Fished from 3-5 boating 15 pickerel and one short pike, then my partner and I took a last run down the more productive shoreline of the day and nailed back to back 28", 6 pound pike. Great way to go out!
Not a bad sunset on the way back down either. 18 fish in the boat in 3 1/2 hours. Great trip! |
