Was out there the other day. We got about 8 bass total. One really nice smallmouth. Mostly caught them on green Senkos. Saw some huge carp in the weeds. Heading back there this week, I want to find some Pike in there.

I've had my share of Pike in there in shallow bays on top water Spooks. Still have one with teeth marks.

Nice, thanks! I actually threw a spook for a little while the other day. Hopefully getting out there again this week, I will try a bunch of spooks and topwaters.

I find the Bone Spooks work best with a slow steady walk the dog retrieve with pauses of up to 30 seconds in between most effective. Sometimes they'll hit as soon as the spook hits the water or while it sits idle. Pike also like flashy spinner baits. Red/Yellow, white.

My biggest pike from there came on a Rooster Tail. I caught a baby bass and was reeling it in. The Pike snatched it and ran. What a fight on a light rod.

Got ot to the boat before it snapped my line.
