Hello everyone, I'm new to the site and looking for an appraiser for some antique tackle. I'm located in Seymour, CT, work in the Bridgeport, CT area. Can anyone suggest a bait shop in my area that does appraisals?
I've got a realtively large tackle box with lures and flies from the 1930's - 1950's and around 6 reels from the same time period.
I'm helping to sell off items belonging to an estate. Looking to first identify and value the items.

stripersonline has a tackle collectors forum. Take pics and post them there for your answers. The bait shop guys will low ball you. Most antique fishing tackle isn't worth much though unless it's new in the packaging,.
