Went and fished Wyassup tonight. This is very close to my house and I probably fish it 99% of the time. It was a crap night. I got about a few bluegill, two pickerel, but not a single bass! This lake is always very productive. Even the bluegill and pickerel bite was off from what it normally is.
We had a line of SEVERE thunderstorms roll thru about 2hrs before I went out. I'm thinking the sudden drop in pressure shut things down. It's supposed to be great weather all day tomorrow. I'll give it another try tomorrow evening.

Went back out last night 5/26. Still zero bass activity. I killed the bluegills on a Rebel wee crawdad. Wyassup has some VERY big bluegill. I was fishing the shallows off the bank during the last 2 hrs of day light. It was a good night despite the lack of bass. |
