| This morning around 9:30 I went to Silver Lake. I was using rapalas and spinners and caught nothing but weeds. There was a man also fishing right next to me with senkos and caught 3 bass in a row and even more bass after that. I'm thinking about buying some senkos tonight and going again tomorrow morning. Hoping for better luck! |

| Silver gets so choked with weeds from now through summer that it's hard to fish anything but soft plastics and frogs. Good place to catch lots of "cookie cutter" 12 inchers with the possibility of an occasional 2 - 3 pounder. |
