Hi,
Took a ride around the NW corner.
Saw a lot of open edges.
Just looked at the NOAA weather for Winsted Wx for next few days:
Tues. Rained all day today with Temp 43 F
Wed. Sunny Temp 47 F
Thurs. Rain again Temp 39 F
Fri. Partly cloudy Temp 41 F
Night time lower Temps won't stay long enough to make a difference.
We need day and night Temps below freezing to stabilize what ice remains.
Colder Wx won't start again till Sat. then stay just below freezing for the next 4-5 days.
From what I could see - Lots of water over White ice and I'm sure all the ice holes drilled have now become drain holes and widened up.
Those that just have to venture out - Use your spud bar and have all your safety gear - tell someone where your going - and go with a buddy !
Just be safe out there guys - Don't want to see your name in the paper ...!
