Hit the boat ramp again starting around 2pm Friday afternoon. Winds were light 5 to 8 mph breezes ranging from the south and the west with an occasional 10 to 12 mph gust. Bridgeport Harbor buoy has gotten below 50 degrees now.

Stuck with the FLR-10 throughout the afternoon and into the evening. Tide was still going out when I got there and action didn't pick up until it started coming in and getting higher.

Landed a total of 4 schoolies and lost a number. Lost about 5 when I got into a thick school during the incoming tide around sunset. But after one came off I kept cranking and another one would take over.

Hit the road around 5pm

not too shabby micheal! Smile
wednesday you had better action at the top of the outgoing.friday was decent...and that was close to dead low.
im headed up that way saturday morning.....weather permitting!
high tide's about 9am.
you had good luck with the outgoing.i might just get there about 8 and work the incoming if the temps aren't too bad...and the southwest winds are low
that "area 4" on the beach side was very hot two weeks ago! i might just start there..move closer by the jetty...then finish up at the boat ramp
clint

Hit it again for about an hour and a half from 3:30 til 5 and stuck with the FLR-10.

Tide has been a big factor recently. Slow to begin with before getting into more action as the tide got higher on the incoming after sunset. Total was 4 with about 10 hits and didn't lose any. One was a chunky 16"er that gave me a nice tug with shaking on the 7'6" Inferno/Penn Fierce 3000 setup.

i'm surprised i didn't see you.i was in the gravel lot playing mechanic from 2-4! Laughing
i got off to a late start because or the weather.didn't get to the boat ramp till closer to 11AM
the strong winds were out of the south and there was this nasty "tunnel effect" at the boat ramp!...right smack in your face Sad
a "guy" said there was a lot of splashing at remington early am so i fished there for about 2 hrs....not even a nibble!
went over to the rocks by the old pier for a while...but same results!
