It seems as though there are finally some fish to be had from shore. I have been catching a lot of schoolie the past week or so (about 50). It seem that most are hitting on soft plastic and the SP minows. I have had a few on top but it is not as producing as well. It seems the beaches are good on the incoming approaching high and the small water/estuaries are producing just before low tide. It's just what i am seeing. The other day I brought my fish and as soon as I gave my son the rod he cautches 2 schoolies and the only keeper i have seen since spring... it was great! TL

That's great. Your son catching a keeper striper probably felt better to you than you catching one. My daughter netted my first and only keeper striper for me last December. I'd like to net her first keeper striper for her before she turns 16 in January, gets her driver's license and I never see her again.

seems like most of the fish now are around 24" . Not great, but helps keep you interested in waiting for the bigger ones.
