Hit Twin Brooks for about 3 or 4 hours Saturday. Was weary about the bite due to the cold front that recently moved through.
Tried throwing a number of topwaters and crankbaits at the main pond with not even a follower.
Later while fishing the usual topwater areas and the November hot spot, I got into some topwater with a perch Rebel Pop-R.
Had a number of curious bass lightly hit the lure. Landed a chunky 12" 1 pound 1 ounce bass and a 14" pickerel. Lost a fish.
Once I got the lure snagged on a tree, I hit the road at 5:20pm |
