Can anyone suggest some good spots to fish for carp on dry flies? I just got back from MT and caught around 15 on the Bighorn Lake and am now addicted. Any help would be much appreciated.

I've only heard of people doing it. Never seen it in person. I wouldn't even know where to start... Stream? River? Lake? Maybe i can try and point you in the right direction.

I have seen carp caught on dries in the lower part of Salmon River as it flows into the Connecticut.

I haven't seen it but heard..dry flies that represent bread crumbs(deer hair) and ones that represent mulberries.

toss out real bread and a bread crumb imitation fly....or.....a mulberry fly casted under a mulberry tree where they are seen feeding.

Rainbow reservoir and the upper housy by the Falls village dam out flow.

Now that I think about it the other day carp in Lake Pocotapaug were feeding on berries tight to the shore, but I was hooking them just fine on big swimmer nymphs. Fun stalkin' them in a yak while they are slurping and tailing!
