I went out on the river last friday. I think that was the 13th. I got on the water at 6:30 and just cruised around a little looking for some good spots. once it was dark i settled a little upstream from a deeper hole about 13ft. I let my lines out and got my first hit at about 10:30. I set the hook and battled him, pulling him upstrream for a solid 5 minutes. He made 3 runs all of which directly after he saw the boat. I finally netted him and he weighed in at 11lbs 4oz. About an hour later i got another one 7lbs 8oz. Finally i left around 1am  |
