Tuesday afternoon I hit the funeral home pond and Twin Brooks Park again. Arrived at the funeral home around 2:45pm.
Fish weren't too active this time no matter what I threw. Bright colors seemed to have been the trick because bluegills were aggressive with a yellow perch Jointed J-7,
Water had risen and algae got washed away thanks to last night's and this morning's heavy rains.
Eventually got a 10" largemouth on the moss back shiner X-Rap Popper XRP-7.
After grabbing a snack and drink I hit Twin Brooks. Stuck with topwater a played with the XRP-7, chrome black Baby Torpedo, and a Jitterbug.
Eventually got a chunky 13" 1.5 pound largemouth with the XRP-7.
Hit the road at 6:45pm |

Bright color seemed to work for me yesterday(orange belly anyways)
It worked today as well....even after i lost it and it was floating due to a pickrel cutoff. _________________ ...Randy...
