Skunded again! 14 times out this year with no hook ups! I read the books buy the bait lures eels and nothing. Low tide slack tide high tide and anything between amc nothing! Is there a drop in activity this year? It seems I should not be striking out this much. Looking for advice very frustrated.

Going to surf casters meeting on Wednesday, maybe I'll learn something. Any help would be great.

Maybe golf is better for me to obsess over.

Its started off good this year until all of the rain and the bait went out and never really came back in so the fish arent coming in. Its tough every where from shore and even pretty tough in lots of spots for boaters but from what Ive heard thats getting much better. You arent the only 1 getting skunked a lot from shore believe me! Its very hit or miss and mostly miss.

I remember at 1 point not being able to get a plug in without snagging a bunker 1 time and having pods of bunker roaming up and down the sandbar a few times and then all the rain began. That was right around when you caught that monster!
