I stopped by mt usual spot for about an hour today.
I threw a weedless rigged strike king coffee scented Goby in watermelon/pumpkin color.
On my fifth cast i caught this frog and was convinced that if i can fool a frog then,a bass has to take it.


As i was about ready to go.I hit one more VERY WEEDY cove.As i made a cast onto the shore of a small island i began to reel into the water an skipped it across the weed mat,they ERUPTED and i could feel a nice fish on.
After finally working it out from under a down tree and uncovering all the weeds I was happy to see this good sight.I was glad it wasn't a pesky pickrel.
