I'm headed out the the dep peer tonight in old Lyme and was wondering if the water will be to high from the recent storm to chunk. We went out two weeks ago with no luck. Any advise would really help this newbie. Thanks guys |

It's going to be high and dirty. Not saying throw in the towel, just don't get your expectations up. If you land a nice one it will be that much better. You could also check out Hammonassette. Looks like you've got incoming until about 11:30-12:00am. Good luck. I'm headed out about 4:30 in the a.m. _________________ RNA - It's in my blood.

I was there around high tide earlier today. It was awful out there. No bites, and lots of wind made for a poor fishing day. Stopped at the bait shop down the road from there, and asked him what I should be doing, he said its probably one of the worst days to fish. He said it takes at least a day to settle down after a big storm. |
