Went to one of the local ponds this afternoon.
No decision and went with my ever faithful Zara spook Jr.
I had and lost a small pickrel. Then caught These two small ones in the same area.

.I walked around to the other side of a cove and landed this one about 12 inches.

.I took a few more casts but,nothing.
As i reached the last open section i made 1 cast and this 14 incher exploded on my spook.

After receiving a text from my friend that i went to Winchester with last night.
I went and joined him.He had 1 small bass before i got there and a bunch of swirls.
On my first cast, before i could even work my spook.WHAM!.
.
.
.
15 about 2-2.5
I then caught this pickrel and a little bass only about double the length of my 3.5 inch spook.
My friend had only a few more swirls and another small bass.

.
A fun hour on such short notice.
