Can you guys let me know about a good Reel I can buy that's less then 100 dollars that I can get at dicks sporting goods

Baitcaster or spinning? Or spincaster? If you want a spinning reel from Dick's, I recommend the Shimano Sahara. Don't pay full price. The new 2013 Connecticut Angler's Guide (the Guide) has a coupon for $10 off of a purchase of $50 or more. You can get a nice Abu Garcia setup for that price range as well, but shimano is a good brand like everyone else said

I have Diawa ($59.00) and Abu Garcia ($49.00) Bait and Spin Casting Reels. The mid level Diawa Spin Casting and Abu Black Max Bait Casting Reel work very well but if your not experienced with bait casting it can frustrate the heck out of ya with bird nests.

Dicks is always having combo sales. Just gotta be patient.

When money permits a high end Bait Caster is awesome. I have a Diawa Zillion. I just happened to get lucky and walk into a going outa business deal I couldn't pass up for the Zillion with a Mojo Stick attached. Less than $200. Shop around. There are many deals on various forums.

If I had to choose between Rod and Reel I would lean more towards a quality rod. The rod makes all the difference in a reel in my opinion. The reels you have now may be sufficient.

For what are you planning on fishing for? If your looking for a reel to catch Stripers on I have 1 Okumo Coronado CD 80 bait feeder in decent shape Id be willing to sell for $50 or a almost brand new Penn Battle 6000 also for $65

I actually just bought a Abu Garcia baitcasting rod and reel combo at Dicks for 99 bucks its goy 8 bearings and 7:1 gear ratio it has been working good for me so far

I've gotten great deals for Penn Fierce and Sargus on Ebay!

I have 2 Fierce 2000 for my lighter freshwater setups and 1 Fierce 3000 for my basic 6 footer.

For surf fishing I have 2 Sargus 4000 for my schoolie setups, 1 Fierce 6000 for one of my 8 footers, and 1 Sargus 5000 for my other 8 footer.

Can't go wrong with a Sargus or Fierce on Ebay!
