Went back to the sandbar Thursday ready for more gators. Setup this time was an 8 foot Star Rods Aerial Surf rigged with Penn Sargus 5000 with 17 pound Sufix Tritanium. Low tide for Bridgeport was scheduled for 4:36pm and got there around 3:45pm
Lures I played with included 4" Berkley Havoc Subwoofer, bunker X-Rap Jointed Shad XJS-13, original pearl shad Glidin Rap GLR-12, mullet Saltwater Skitter Pop SSP-12, chartreuse bone X-Rap Walk XRW-13, and pearl grey shiner Flat Rap FLR-16.
Never had any hit on the lures and never saw any signs of bunker. Never even saw a single osprey circling above the water.
Hit the road around 6pm |

That kind of day makes the diehards come back and the rest stay home. _________________ ...Randy...
