|
|
Bumped into a full grown black bear while I was retrieving my jig from a submerged tree at Stillwater. I think we were both just as scared when we first saw each other but after a few minutes it was like I had a new fishing bud. Here's some pictures.
I have some video footage but the quality is horrible anybody know of any good websites to expand an Iphone 4s video movie? Also this is not the first time I've ran into a CT bear back, in 2009 I bumped into a mother bear and her 2 cubs while I was deer hunting in Nepaug. That was fun _________________ http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o21/PickerelPete/IfeH-r.gif |

This is so cool. I would be scared out of my mind at first. _________________ The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad. ~A.K. Best |

This nature encounter beats the osprey at Batterson that stole my bass after I released it, and the hawk at Winchester that tried to snatch my frog off the lilly pads. Once I run into a mountain lion be ready for a lot of pictures... _________________ http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o21/PickerelPete/IfeH-r.gif |

Hi,
Hmmmmmmm ?
That bear has 2 ear tags !
If I recall what DEEP says, that bear has been caught 2x because it has become a nuisance bear because it is use to being near humans.
I'd be very very wary getting to close to such a bear

Wow... that's some scary stuff. For the past couple years i've always had the fear of running into one of those guys at the spots i fish at night. When i would get to the spot i would plan out an escape route like jumping in the river and hoping that i can swim faster the he can, LOL. _________________ Got em!! |
