I was also down in Mexico last week. The girlfriend and I did a 4 hour day of trolling. We caught 6 cuda`s only 2 being worth talking about.
It seemed pretty amazing to watch the mates to rig a mullet and have it in the water in about 30 seconds.Even though there was a lack of communication because my spanish is as good as my german which is as good as my russian. When it comes to fishing signals and gestures speak loudly.
My girlfriend did have 1 fish we never got to witness. She had him hooked for about 2 minutes. It stole drag until he decided to turn and run towards the boat. She could not catch up to the fish cranking as fast as she could and the fish in turn gave us our hook back.
Oh well 8 days of sun and 1 fish story is much better then work. _________________ The King of Long Island Sound. |
