Hit Quonipaug from 530 till about 7 30. Threw nothing but swim baits. Got a 2lber and a 5lb 3oz off of a inside weed line.
The 5lb 3oz
Also got this 2lb 6oz out of beaver pond like a week or so ago. On a brush hog punching pads

I wish we could find the smallies there..... I would trade everything I know about that lake for that bit of info. Hell, for one offshore hump id give an arm.
I have to go out there one day and bring nothing but a dropshot rod and stay in the middle of the lake till I find something. Full 8 hours. |

Nick, the smallies are very rare,..I do not think you can just go out and target them. IMO, there's just not enough in there to target! The only two that I've ever caught there, both came by that little inlet stream that's just north of the beach, if that helps you any!
ps: Nice job on the catching there Z! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."

I catch ALOT of trout out of that hole to the left of that dock there as well- lost a few fish that fought like smallies there on the dropshot- only consistant area ive found for the dropshot. Havent fished the 2 major weedlines with that bait yet. Il head there tmw I think. |
