Some sandies will most likely get you into stripers I will say the water is fast right now a lot of debris and I needed 4 to 5 oz of lead to hold bottom at the boat launch behind Alberts restaurant in windsor today

Take a look at the satellite view in Google Maps. There's a wing dam just upriver from the boat launch ramp at Vibert Road. On the downriver side of the dam, fairly close to shore, there's a hole that's over 40 feet deep. I always seem to mark fish in it, although I've yet to catch one of them. Bring a blade bait. If you plan to chunk on the bottom for cats, try just off of the ramp on the downriver side. Fish often hold on the bottom there in the warm water discharge. It's normally only 12 to 14 feet deep, at most. Good luck!
