since i got the skunk there the other day, i figured i would try to redeem myself. Got there around 430 and started throwing a spinnerbait. Landed a nice rainbow within the first 5 min. Suprised to see a trout of that size hit a big spinnerbait.
Shortly after i switched to a pumpkin senko and got a big hit. Put up one heck of a fight. Didnt have a scale but i estimate 3lbs or so

Nice fish your catching, the bass looks about 3 and 1/2 lbs or so.

Nice fish! I caught a tiger trout in the Connecticut River next to the Lady Katharine in Middletown with a big white spinnerbait once. A hungry trout will hit anything.

Phil,
From my history of catching tiger trout on the Pequonnock, seems like they are the most aggressive of the smaller stockies. They are usually the ones that hit something the browns and bows won't. |
