Looking for a little advice.
I cant wait for this weekend's opening day!
I looked up Hanover Pond on this site and noticed a lot of you had yak'd there in the past or taken a boat out.
While I wont be taking my Nucanoe out on Saturday, I want to shoreline fish there, along with the Q river across the street,
In your opinion is the trail system across from Hanover good for trout?
It looks beautiful by the bridge and I would love to hear what you think about it.
Is there more trout fishing to be had as I enter through the gate by the red bridge?
This would be my first time there so thanks for taking my questions.
I want to make sure it wouldn't be a waste, because I have Wolfe Park down the way from me along with Mill River (Fairfield TMA)
Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
CYak |

Was at hanover yesterday fishing from shore with no luck. Have had luck in the past though throwing spinnerbaits and senkos. Have caught a few trout by the bridge using rooster tails. Anyway let us know how you make out. Good luck! |

I was there yesterday from shore as well, got 2 bass and one pickerel, over by the falls is always good because of the little faster moving water |
