Decided to head out to Paderewski its on my way home form work. It was cool windy worked my way around this spot that has produced nothing but hangups and dog crap piles (steeped in a pile of crap 2 min in)..Worked my way from the main launch to the main parking lot .Threw a black grub at sum bushes got my first bass of the year about 1.5lbs. Ducks land to the left of me on a cove area, winds pick up they are on a feeding frenzy! So i decide to throw a shallow crank purple/black the second i crank fish within 1 hour 11+ bass between 2-3lbs biggest came in at 4.2lbs this fish on another day would have came in about 3lbs winds died the ducks flew to the middle island no boat so no access Sad Lost 3 heavy ones it happens.. All fish caught on a slow retrieve with a slight pause. It was some adrenaline pumping excitement! Best day of fishing in some time.https://www.dropbox.com/sh/doa4ioez7fhq8q0/QY--DfnuaW?m

I was told by some guy that lives of the pond that he has not seen it stocked in some time. Also had a police officer ask me how the fishing was last summer. Not 100% sure if they still stock but everytme I'm there people are fishing.

I HATE it when you're freshwater fishing or surf fishing and dog owners let their dog run, which makes the dog eventually go into the water right near you and scares the fish. The owner isn't even paying attention and doesn't care.

Good idea I also have bootys at my job. Shallow diving crank bandit got it at dick last year from the clearance rack. The 2 small guys were on black grub. Had a day like that at wethersfield res 2 years back with a giant black worm go figure...

Good for you, sounds like an awesome day. There are leash laws in this state.
