Hi guys,
I've been primarily a freshwater fisherman my whole life, but I'd like to bring my two 8 yr old kids to do some clamming and crabbing. I live near new haven and was wondering if there was a good place near by and how to do it. Any tips would be great.

i like to crab round Madison/Clinton/Westbrook. I don't know that clamming is recommended near New Haven. I certainly don't recommend it. _________________ i'm a castaway with no fishing pole, and the fishing hole is just a cast away |

The clamming in guilford is second to none!!! $75 for an out of towner and there is no closed season (unless they get torrential rains) Got an easy limit of hard shells and oysters sunday after a quick ice outing at winchester lake!!! |
