So I fished wed, thurs, fri, sat, and sunday! Caught a pickerel or maybe hybrid?
It was about 3.5 or 4 lbs. I cant post the pic yet until i have 3 posts.
Caught it Keeney Cove early Saturday Mornin on a jig targeting bass and pike! I fished in the Kyak the from the bridge down to the riv. with nodda bite. Sunday I fished the CT Riv Hard and hit white oaks in the Yak with no luck. I fished ashore spot, a secret little cove area on the CT in the Glastonbury area and caught 20+ crappie, perch, sonnies, LMB nothing over 1 pound. No Pike on Sunday, the water is definitely coming to life though. I had baits out for big cats and pike throughout the day, with no bites on them. My dad and I are going to put together the first ice out report and get it up ASAP. We also found dead shad a, big gizzard shad, and smaller ones that had been whacked by larger fish. There must have been 10 dead Gizzard Shad in this one place.
