Fished squantz from 12:30-3ish. Got on the water and there were large patches of ice and the water was way down. Someone tried putting/pulling their boat in or out and got it stuck deep in the mud. At around 1:30 my dad caught a 15'' brown on a gulp 3'' minnow on a medium salmon hook trolling across the middle of the lake. I didnt get anything besides a few rocks and a piece of wood for one of my fish tanks. I did get a trout to hit my rooster tail trolling back to the launch but he didnt get hooked. Ill post a pic of the icebergs that floated across the lake during the day. One of the icebergs had 8'' of ice under it! Really cool experience. The lake was definitaly NOT stocked yet. Water is way down and there was some ice blocking where the stocking trucks would need to go to put the fish in. I think sometime this week they'll stock it.
