Went to Ball Pond today. 7 1/2" of ice. Once we drilled the water came a rushin out. Made some pathways with a shovel from home base to the tip ups. Bad idea. The water rushed in so i had to make barriers to block the flow. That lasted till the temp rose then we had a bit of a mess on our hands!
Anyways now to the fishin!
Half hour after we set the tip ups (8:30) we got our first flag.
A 14.5" largemouth.
15 minutes later. Flag. 10".
20 minutes after. Flag. 13"
15 Minutes later Flag no fish
15 minutes later Flag skunked.
An hour goes by, another buddy shows up as he is placing his second tip up in the water the flag hits him in the face! 16.25"
2 hour lull.
Flag 14.5"
Flag. 17"!
Another flag another 15"
Just as I'm packing my stuff up around 2:45 one of my flag flys! I got hasty and ripped to quick! No fish. Probably that elusive Brown I was waiting for!!!
They're still out there! _________________ Oh man... you got Onzo'd! |

Sure you can jig. It's not like a fire hydrant going off. It's like a trickling. _________________ Oh man... you got Onzo'd! |
