Had a pretty great day, nice big bass, 4 pound range most likely, 4 or 5 perch, and the same for pickeral including a nice 16-17 incher.

Had 6-7 inches pure black ice, so awesome being able to see that big bucket mouth thrashing under the ice.

I was alone so sorry for crappy pictures my arm proved not long enough haha.
She looked like a monster though the ice but went 4 pounds I'd say. Got excited and thought it was my biggest ever for a minute but still a great so much fun being able to watch it fight. She was also lip hooked and went back in the water very healthy.

Big ol' pickeral as well. Snapped a couple comin' pics through the ice.

Psssh.. who needs open water we got ice!

I am too lazy to stand there jiggin' haha. That's why I got those automatic fishermans, they are basically a tip-up but with a rod and reel.

Nice fishing! Congrats on the bass!

Looks like a nice pickerel! And yes, yellow perch will eat big just like the way a crappie will. Yellow perch have a grand time with the alewives at Candlewood. I've seen them spit up plenty while jigging them through the ice.

Thanks it's interesting both my biggest fish of the year have come from Savin and Red Cedar, which are within 5 minutes of each other.

This was the only pic I managed of my other big Larry at Red Cedar. I think it's because I was sad she swallowed the hook. I usually only keep the smaller ones but she tasted good anyway all fried up Wink
