Fished the Mud Hole for bluefin. Had one pick up that didn't come tight before the front came through and the wind started blowing 25 to 30 knots. Fishing became almost impossible in the 4-8 foot seas, but we stuck it out until about 1 in the afternoon when everyone was beat up enough. We marked a number of big fish down deep but couldn't entice them to the surface. Slogged our way back until about 10 miles from shore when the seas laid down enough for us to pick up and run.

Nope, didn't see any other boats do anything, of course once the wind picked up and the 8 footers came rolling through it was tough to just see the other boats, never mind what they were doing! Smile
