I hear ya there!....I chose late February because that's usually the "dead" of wintertime up here - hopefully producing enough ice for Candlewood....I shall cross my tip-ups (and fingers) for good ice! |

If it doesnt there are a few lakes nearby that will probably freeze over and are great fishing as well. _________________ YouTube Channel: NorthEastFisherman |

ok, I have yet to understand this....
I posted this tournament on iceshanty.com and they deleted my post - why would a forum do this? I'm perplexed by this.... |

the average derby price is around $20/per person at any event (avg)...I'm doing $30 because not only will it increase the prize amount, but it is a fundraiser and I need to raise the maximum amount of money to initialize the manfacturing of this new product prototype.
If I make an exception for you, then I have to extend that courtesy to everyone which I am not able to do and I will apologize for this in advance. |

Take it easy Amotha....LOTS of attitude there and little respect....
Kids under 16 fish for free as they have to use their guardian's/parent's tip-ups and/or combo of jigging rod/tip-ups.
AS STATED, the prize(s) are to be announced/determined as it is very early in this stage to announe prizes as I am making connections with various vendors to donate prizes to this fundraiser as I estimate how many contestants will attend which will ultimately decide the cash portion of the prize(s).
Try to be more respectful during your comments on this thread, ok? |

I am unaware of the ages of almost every member here and I don't think he's under 16 years of age - if that's the case, then my prior response would have told him that he doesn't have to pay. |

Think about this, if youre 17 then you and your dad pay a total of 60$ but you could win that money back easily if you know how to fish. And about your post being deleted i have no clue but know i know i wasnt going crazy cause i posted a topic about Thorne Bros. Custom Rods and it got deleted but i thought i forgot to hit submit or something, guess not. Why dont they delete blaines CTO tournament things then too? _________________ YouTube Channel: NorthEastFisherman |

P.S. 30$ is actually not a bad deal, if they get 30 people to sign up then theres up to 900$ in the pot (probably around 700$ for the fees and so on). _________________ YouTube Channel: NorthEastFisherman |
