Unfortunately, the ice I found was on the road! Tried to do a scouting run
yesterday around noon up at the NW corner and was greeted in Goshen with
freezing drizzle As i slowly pressed on, cars were broadside into telephone
poles, off the road into the ditch and tangled up with each other!!! Not wanting
to add to police reports, I pulled a u-turn and crept back home. Definitely a
different world up there. Might burn some more gas Wed. and give it another go! |

Don't waste the fuel. We'll be back up into the 50s, later this week. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

Hi,
Ditto what Phil said.
My neighbor's little fire pond, here in Winsted, was covered with ice this morning.
With the rain and warmer temps it was all gone by 2:00 PM.
Warmer temps all this week so save your gas!
We need at least a full week of sustained day and night cold temps to make reliable ice !
