High tide for Bridgeport was scheduled for 3:31pm Monday and got to the cannon around 2:45pm to find the usuals already there. They weren't into anything yet. Conditions were favorable for striper action. Mostly cloudy skies, light NE breeze, temps in the upper 40s, and enough moisture.

I stuck with the trusty original pearl shad Flat Rap as the usuals threw their pearl white soft plastics.

Once the tide started heading out, I started getting hits on the FLR-10. The usuals weren't getting anything hitting their soft plastics. After 4 hits I finally landed a short 12" schoolie.

As time went by I only caught 1 more 12"er and had another 2 hits but didn't lose any off the hook. Each of the usuals caught 1 schoolie about the same size as the 12"er I caught. They each got 2 or 3 hits. One of the last hits I got was a stiff hit before getting some slack and no fish on.

The usuals called it a day about 5 or 8 minutes before I called it a day around last light.

High tides at Seaside Park won't be good for me for the next couple of days because of time of day and sunset. The usuals told me all the action has been on the outgoing not the incoming. Standing on the rocks by myself after dark at Seaside Park isn't safe vs being on a sandbar, reef, or beach by myself after dark.
