Didnt do so good saturday afternoon. Only got one smallmouth that fought very well and a few perch. The Smallmouth dropped from 16 feet in 30fow to 20ish feet in 35 fow. They didnt have as good of bites as they had a week ago. And the fish would rise from bottom up to your minnow and you wouldnt feel anything. There were HUGE balls of bait that i think the smallmouth fed on in the morning and by the afternoon they were too full to eat our minnows. Sometimes Candlewood will demoralize you................ yet others amaze you....... Crazy place......... that's fishin they say...... still sux when you have a tough day tho. |
