I went down to the Salmon River launch thinking I might try Chapmans Pond and the old power plant canal.
I didn't get there till about 9:30 so I ended up trying the canal.
I worked my way through the canal and when I got to the fallen trees I hooked into a decent 16 inch LMB on a watermelon red flake tube.

I kept working my way and half way up I hooked into a 26 inch pike on a hard swim bait

I kept working my way all the way up with no action at all.
On the way back, I got 2 more LMB around the trees on the same tube lure.

Got a few fish but it was slower than I thought it would be.
