| WELL THINGS WORKED OUT GREAT! - drove up friday was a lousey day till we got off the HIGH PEAKS EXIT! and the ride was beautiful - raging water and everywhere you looked WATERFALLS! MAGNIFICENT! - hit St Regis lakes sat am (chilly and partly sunny) for a very different thing we do in the LATE fall up there! WE TROLL deep diving cranks over humps between 15 and 25 ft! -- and man did we catch some great smallies! most were around 19 and 20 with a few 21 plus (LOL) these fish are fat so fat that they don't really have a fish shape! JUST FAT AND ROUND! - on sunday the weather was OVERCAST - COLD AND WINDY! - not my type of day to be out on cross river BUT perfect for someone else running the boat and me and my son trolling again! -- sunday was the best day LOL - i knew it would be IT WAS SMALLIE WEATHER! -- we caught smallies - some big pike - and a few landlocks to boot - was a great time in the ADKs -- BUT not for fair weather freaks! -- sorry i don't know how to post pics! |
