Sorry for the late report, I fished the old discharge canal and chapmans last Sunday and got a few good fish, all caught flippin' texas rigged worms on the deeper edges of weedbeds, a couple decent bass, biggest was 3lbs. and a nice strong 30 inch pike! Then labor day I went out of Wethersfield cove and fished laydowns and points and isolated weedbeds in the mainriver and found some nice largemouths hanging deep in the laydowns, texas rigged worms and keitech swim jigs did the trick! The smallies were caught on finesse keitech jigs in 8-15Fow on rocky points! Heres a few of the better fish! -Dan |
