Went down to the pier in West Haven (across from Stowe's). 4pm high tide got there at 130. Managed one 6 lb blue and then another 8 lb blue about an hour later. Haven't been down there often this year but every time its been very productive. All caught using chunk mackerel |

I stopped going down to those piers as everytime I went it was like a hurricane over there with winds gusting to around 20 mph! Also Ive noticed that every year since Ive been going low tide is lower and lower. Actually I did go there a gfew days ago 2.75 hours before low tide and it looked the ocean had dried up! Ive always had good luck for blues on those piers though when ever I hit the wind and tide right! _________________ There's a fine line between fishing....
