Gonna hit Ball Pond around 5 AM. I got some new trolling lures to try out. I know I gotta go deep! Anyone been out there for trout lately? It's been tough with the heat I know but they gotta eat right? Tried Alwives a few weeks ago but once I got them into the water they died. Couldn't get them down to the oxygenated water quick enough. Would love to get some reports. Let me know. If anyone want to meet me there come on down!

I'll be there tomorrow at 8am with my friend and his dad. They'll be in a canoe and ill be in a kayak. If i paddle by you ill check on how youre doing  .

Nuthin! Depressing. Got there @ 5:15 AM trolled with a bunch of different lures at different depths (all more than 20' and as far down as 40') not even a bite! Depressing... Eh. That's why they call it "fishing" and not "catching".

| Still,nothing beats being on the water! Summer can be tough, but you can figure it out with a little time. If the lakes busy during the day, you need to hit the water once it settles down a bit. |
