The summer blue fish are in full effect. Caught 8 last night trolling wire line on slack tide from 7-830. Started drifting live eels on three ways for striper after that. Only had one hook up and we broke it off right up next to the boat. All in all a fun night on the sound, and if you like blue fish now's the time to get out to the race! _________________ Is it duck season yet? |

Thanks for the report. I enjoy bluefish of any size. The smaller 3-5 pounders are great fun on a flyrod, larger ones , 6-10 lbs ,are exciting on light trout sized rods and poppers and the larger ones are tough on any tackle. I enjoy eating the small ones and smoking larger ones. |

Caught lots of double digit blues and a handful of keeper stripers, though no monsters, yesterday evening. All on bucktails. My arms were burning! _________________ RNA - It's in my blood.
