After getting a few things done Downtown Wednesday afternoon, I hit Remington starting just after 5pm. High tide for Bridgeport was 4:46pm.

Stayed with that flake blue MXR-13 that's been working for me. Saw only 3 others there when I got there. They were hitting the arh arh fish on the bottom.

It wasn't until 6:30pm I had a blue on but lost it on the jump. Had a hit about 15 minutes later.

Those 3 other fishermen left while I was still there and 2 others came before 2 of the usuals I've been seeing came. One of the chunkers who got there first was hitting a combination of sea robins and nice porgies that looked to be 7 to 10 inches.

Later once it was almost 8pm, the bite turned on.

The 2 usuals and 1 of the chunkers stayed. The chunker switched over to a Rattle Trap and he was hitting them well.

I'd get a hit or fish on every 3 to 5 casts. One of the usuals wasn't into the blues too well until he took a silver SXR-12 out. He had the same idea as me.

I eneded up with a total of 7 taylors around 2 pounds. Lost a total of 5 and had 3 other hits.

The one who switched over to the Saltwater X-Rap had a good bite going too. He caught 5 and lost 3 all with the SXR-12.

Once it was just after 9pm, the bite died, esp with how close it was getting to low tide. Myself and the 2 usuals were the only ones still there and we hit the road around 9:15pm.

The other usual was using a olive green Long A Jointed but wasn't into it as well as the one using the SXR and me using the MXR. A smaller lipless around 3" seemed to be a hit too from another fisherman I saw.
