Hey guys,
I have been fishing for around 12 years now, but havent gotten out as much as i have wanted in the last 4 years (primarily due to my job). I have now made a commitment to myself to get out and fish at least once a week. I primarily fish anything in the Hartford area (unfortunatly from off shore since i do not own a boat or yak). I also head up to Winsted (Highland Lake) frequently as my neighbor has a house right on the water.
I'm always down to fish with others so PM me if anyone wants to fish.

Welcome Aroz.
I'm on first bay near shore drive. We love fishing for bass in highland, A little tough to fish from a boat due to all the ski boats and jetski's! So we fish it mainly in the spring and fall once things slow down some.
What bay does your friend live on?

Yeah Highland is such a nice lake overall - i one day will own a property on that lake i've decided. The part of the lake we fish on is literally in that big inlet when you get to the "2nd" or "middle" circle on the lake. The water is MUCH calmer than the rest of the lake (including minimal wind) and there are hardly ever boats that go by (the only cases are other people fishing, or boats that come from other houses in that bay that are heading out to the larger parts of the lake). |
