| Saturday AM - snagged 6 bunker took an hour very small schools. Took them out to the reef 3 wayed them incoing tide, 35 - 60' of water. 3 Keepers and lost the other bunker to Bluefish. Switched over to Ava 67 diamond jigs, started my drifts well before the reef and ended catching 19 more bass from 26-42 inches all of the fish were covered in Sealice and hungry - the bigger bass were caught bounicng the jig on the bottom. I left them hitting at 10:00am - by far my best day on Long Island sound - more reports to follow. All fish released. |
