Sorry for the severly late results. I moved a week prior to the tournament and lets just say I never want to move again. Jamie and I went to Kentucky the next week for the nationals and the monsoon rain followed us. 5 inches of rain the first day and tornadoe warnings, lightning, and thunder- not fun - less than 50 miles away tornadoe touched down and killed some people. Second day lightning till noon. 15 inch minimum - caught over 30 fish from noon till 4:00 - 27 of which were 13-14 inches. Threw the three keepers back. Ride sucked - 18 hours straight. Definately a learning experience and looking to my fathers day gift of good goretex rain gear. Yes Chuck - you were right the damn locals won it and the new z8 and 2nd and the new z7 and many of the top 35 spots. 350 boats participated - a little crazy if you ask me. First time on 5.5-6 foot chop too - which was insanely crazy - thank god our bilge pump was working. I had whip lash by the end of the first day. Fortunately the CT Division will be the locals for the regional tournament this year and hopefully we will have a good showing and someone from CT will win the tracker boat. I look forward to seeing everyone on the 23rd on the river.
Anyway here are the results - I promise to post them in a timely manner in the future - Paul

We also have a New England regional tournament and a national tournament for those that qualify.
Please contact Jamie at 203-510-8805 for further information or visit www.usabassin.com.
We do not conflict with the Federation or NEBA.
The New England two day regional tournament will be held on the CT river. Last year there was over $10,000 in cash and prizes awarded at Sebago Maine and in addition the first place team took home a new tracker boat. To qualify you will need to accumulate 250 which is possible if you catch fish in at least 3 tournaments. |
