A few days ago i got a few spro mcstick 95 jerkbaits and a abu garcia veritas rod for jerkbaitn and had to go give them a try. In 1 hour off shore at the thompson dam i caught 8 bass, one that was around 3lb and the rest between 1 and 2 pounds. I can definitely say i am happy with the jerkbaits! The only thing i was pretty surprised with was that I had to add a few split rings to get the mcsticks to suspend, Just thought for the money they cost they'd suspend right out of the package like they're supposed to. But they seem to work really well! I have pictures i will put up if someone wants to let me know how again. _________________ this fish here is a real donkey!!! |

In the warmer months i usually do pretty good there, But this time of year when the waters only around 40 deg or less it's usually tough but i guess it's all about locating the fish and i just got lucky and happened to be fishing an area they were hanging out in. _________________ this fish here is a real donkey!!! |
