Hit the Thames River this morning. We got to Smith Cove just as the tide was coming in. Schools of two-pound blues were stacked on top of schoolie stripers on the cove side of the railroad pilings. By keeping our baits deep, we managed to avoid most of the blues and catch the stripers. Elsewhere in the cove, snapper blues were tearing into huge schools of peanut bunker.
It's ashame I have to sell my boat.
