I saw a lot of boats on the CT River the last few days from Windsor to Enfield. Anybody from this site? Was anybody still catching anything? Looking to get out this week. River looks good right now. _________________ Go big or go home! |

You fish the section just below the damn, right? Do you park at the ball fields and walk upstream, or is there access someplace else? I've never fished that far up - though it was real shallow. _________________ Go big or go home! |

Flipper, That section is way low right now. There is a park on River street you can park at. You need chest waders, and continue walking downstream. You could also access through Old River street and travel along river via tobacco fields. These are owned by Thrall Tobacco and are posted, but should not be a problem. They are presently planting, so i suggest just asking one of the foreman or straw bosses permission. Good luck! |

Went today from noon to about 1:30 downstream of the ball fields. Caught one Striper about 26" who snapped my topwater plug in half. |
