Fished the Springfield/ Chicopee/ holyoke area last night from about 7PM till 1AM using frozen eels ( my local bait shop lost their live bait license) and bombers.

Went out of thompsonville boat launch, used top water plugs and sluggos, not even a bite.
Even the smallmouth and bass were not cooperative.

| Lol i found them in the windsor locks area yesterday. Lost 3 keepers on topwater and got a schoolie my cousin got a 34 inch 17lbs. There was lots of bait as well. We had about 50 blowups on topwater. Hoping its just early still. Hoping we have another 2 full weeks left. |

I also spotted tons of bait on fishfinder but couldn't get any hits. I am hoping they will be around another couple weeks. I have yet to catch a keeper striper. I thought to go down to that boat launch near the 91 bridge but 2nd guessed it.

| I dont think u can launch at least i wouldn't from alberts launch. Going to have to do Bissell bridge launch and go up river. Alberts has a big tree in the way. People have been chancing it but i wouldn't. Bait got pushed to the bottom the other day when the sun came out and it shut off. |
