The more I learn about fishing, the more I learn what I don't know about fishing.
I have been out on the CT river this year trying to catch a striper and i have had no such luck from shore in the Windsor area. Is there a particular rig or setup that works best for these spring stipers?
I was casting a houdini, and i think what its called a bomber to no avail. _________________ "Come after Me, and i will make you to become fishers of men"

Windsor slowed down to a stand still for me these last two weeks. Couple week ago I could get like 8 schoolies in an outing, nothing over 26" though. I also checked out Enfield dam a few times with nothing. But there is lots of shore access on the Eastwindsor / Enfield side going towards kings Island and even past the launch. |

I go over by the Amtrak railroad tracks sometimes, caught a nice small mouth last year there, but I have never saw anything major come out of there. I am thinking of going striper fishing tonight. _________________ "Come after Me, and i will make you to become fishers of men"
